  • Describe the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed policy*

    These revisions to the constitution and bylaws address the following issues in the prior constitution and bylaws:

    • Add an e-meetings bylaw. 
    • Clean up DLC charges based on CBA changes. 
    • Clarify the role of AAC in light of having an Office of Assessment and Accreditation.
    • Remove language from the GEAC committee charge allowing proposals to bypass that committee.
    • Reorganization of all of the committee charges to make it easier to read and follow.
    • Added language to reflect that there is now a School of Business.
    • Made the language throughout consistent with regard to Curriculog. 
    • Went through the whole document to make all the language / formatting / punctuation is consistent. 

    The Word Document attached is the consitution and bylaws that was accepted in November 2020 with Track Changes on. The PDF is the finalized version of the constitution and bylaws up for consideration with this proposal.

    We would continue using the UFS Constitution and Bylaws that was adopted in November 2020.
